Welcome to The Knitting Room at Muskoka Knits® — a place to learn, create and discover the wonderfully oversized world of chunky knitting.

Here you’ll find the yarns, oversized needles and tools I use and love, along with private knitting lessons for anyone wanting to learn how to work with big needles and beautiful chunky yarns.

Never knitted before? Start here. Been knitting for years but never picked up a pair of 15, 20 or 25 mm “broomsticks”? I can teach you that too.

You can also learn how to finger knit chunky blankets and throws, shop the yarn you’ll need for your project, or bring your own.
